Hey guys, I've always been confused by the Condor brand. They make good steel choices (1075), and I haven't heard many complaints about their HT, but they just don't grind their knives. Here are some before and after pictures of a Condor Bushbuddy I recently finished up. The knife was actually ground, its spine was rounded and polished all the way around, and a couple of the infuriating hot spots on the handle were ground out. I did an epoxy coated wrap for the handle (my first one), and made a new sheath, because Condor's sheath assumed that you would never want actual handles. It was a fun build. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Has anyone tried to make a shovel to knife transition?

Shovels are quite well balanced for spears, so obviously they'd make good knives

The Cold Steel Special Forces shovel is a sort of hybrid between a knife/axe and a shovel. I haven't had much practical use for mine but it's a nice compact shovel that's got a single bevel grind on all the edges. It's especially nice in rooty soil and you can do some chopping with it in a pinch.
