A few knives
November 19, 2016 07:12AM
Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share a few of my more recent knives.

This one is one of my personal knives, so I took it down really thin: <.004 BET

here is a spine shot:

I should also mention that the 3rd one down is AEB-L and was heat treated for me by Luong (bluntcut) to 64 HRC.

Thanks for looking!

Nice work. I like the t top 2 kitchen knives. looks like Padauk handles which I'm a big fan of.

Thanks guys!

Good eye Kyley, Padauk is one of my favorite woods to work with.

Wow, that chef gets thin. Have you had any durability issues? Nice work across the board!

Beautiful work. Interesting handles + thin geometries + high hardness AEB-L = win! smileys with beer

Thanks everyone!

I haven't had any durability problems, but I'm the only one using the knife, and I have a good idea of how far I can push it.

My guess is that it would not be practical for the majority of users, but for people on this forum a knife with similar geometry would work nicely.
