Looks like an awesome sharpener. It would be interesting if Spyderco made a pocket version of the Goldenstone, maybe like the Double Stuff 2, but with the Goldenstone shape.

Nice review from Nick. He's right, I do need o do a tutorial. We're working on a CBN version (Duckfoot Embryo) and a base to convert the stone to a 30 degree. When they are ready, I'll do a video. The actual design was created when the Sharpmaker was designed back in '78, but the technology wasn't there to make it. We finally patented it when we could make one.

I like the idea of the goldenstone in a smaller size too. Sort of like the sharpening stone pendants ragweed forge used to sell.


How exciting it must be to see this sort of stuff through your career! I look forward to seeing the base design when it comes out.
